Sattvic Meals Foundation is a NJ based non-profit organization that is focusing on issues related to food insecurity amongst university students. Our goal is to see “No Student Hungry” and to provide hot, nutritious and freshly prepared plant-based meals to students in association with local farmers to support food sustainability in the state of NJ.

On Nov 8, 2024, Middlesex College hosted a Diwali party to which Sattvic Meals Foundation of New Jersey (SMF -NJ) was invited. The event was sponsored by Sewa organization and was attended by many organizations which are helping the community fight food insecurity.
SMF NJ was recognized by Middlesex College as a community partner and for the weekly contribution of fresh hot meals towards the college pantry. The college also expressed gratitude by sending a letter of appreciation towards Mr. Surendra Parampalli, the Executive Director SMF NJ . Hari Sundar Prabhu (Secretary to the Executive Director) and Suchitra Kamath (Board of Directors) were in attendance of this Diwali party on behalf of SMF NJ.
